This residency program includes a detailed orientation and unique staffing schedule in the three areas of Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby (postpartum), and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Our Level III OB and Level III NICU will provide various experiences for patient care, including higher-acuity deliveries and premature babies.
The privilege of gaining knowledge and experience in all three areas will promote comprehension of maternal and neonatal outcomes, prioritization, and critical thinking.
Your profile
Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Requires current state of Indiana license as a Registered Nurse prior to starting the program.
Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
A successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to be flexible, adapt well to change, and be a motivated learner.
